Her father is a union worker earning very little each month, her mother is a housewife, and her younger sister is a student. Saniya’s grandmother is a cancer patient, and her treatment takes up a big part of the family’s income.
Saniya was expecting to arrange for an education loan, but it did not happen since the family had no assets to give to the bank as security. They already have a loan of Rs. 2 lakhs, which her father is struggling to repay. She reached out to MicroCharity for financial assistance with her college fee of Rs. 2,20,000 for the first year.

The family stays in a small house with an asbestos roof. Tincy’s father is not in a position to support the family’s daily expenses and both the children’s education. Tincy is good at studies and wants to complete her education, so that she can take care of her family.
She got admissions at a Nursing college in Thalassery, Kerala. The total fee for this academic year comes to Rs. 76,000 and the family has no way to fund this. So they approached MicroCharity for financial assistance.
