Ramanujappa, a 26 year old young man is bedridden for about 6 months now. He injured his spine in a traffic accident and is now paralyzed from waist down. He is also suffering from third degree bed sores. He is advised to take nutritional food but he is not in a financial condition to afford the expenses.

He is treated at St. John’s hospital, Bangalore and was in ventilator for four months. The hospital bill alone is about 3.5 lakhs. Out of which 2.75 lakhs was paid by his step brother. But to make things worse, his step brother lost his job and now Ramanujappa is unable to afford even his food expenses. A well-wisher has donated a wheel chair, and the hospital has given discounts on the medical bills. The hospital was also taking care of his food expenses, but now he is being discharged from the hospital.
