They are now struggling to pay school fees for these children, approximately Rs. 22,000-32,000 per child per year. They reached out to MicroCharity for financial assistance. We would request our donors and well-wishers to wholeheartedly support these children, who would otherwise be denied basic education, and a safe home to live in.

Sanjoe Bhavan is a home for orphans and street children from the surrounding slums at J P Nagar, Bangalore, India. Sisters of the Destitute congregation are running Sanjoe Bhavan, taking care of these children – their accomodation, food, education, and other daily needs.

The Trinitarian fathers, as part of their mission, are encouraging the children to come, even if their parents cannot afford the school fee. Total expenses for one child per year comes to Rs. 10,000 including admission fee, monthly fee, books, and uniform. But there are many parents who cannot afford this amount.
So the priests reached out to MicroCharity for financial assistance in sponsoring 5 children. For a meager sum of Rs.10,000, we can lift the lives of children who would otherwise spend their lives illiterate, without any job opportunities. We appeal to our donors to help us in this cause, so that the children can start attending school.

MicroCharity is supporting 2 children this year at a cost of Rs. 12,000 per student for uniform, books, and school fee.

DeMatha English Medium School is a school in the tribal area of Kamrup district in Assam, run by the Trinitarians, priests belonging to The Order of the Most Holy Trinity. Most of the students are from the surrounding villages, which are economically backward areas. The villagers earn their income from cattle rearing and daily wage work, and are not keen on sending their children to school.

Thresha’s father is running a small shop after he lost his job during the pandemic. Her mother also gave up her job as an accountant to take care of Thresha. The family has very little money to take care of their daily expenses, and are struggling to meet medical expenses for their daughter. Total cost for the surgery will come to Rs. 75,000 in addition to medicine, room, and nursing care. Her family is in a dire situation, and reached out to MicroCharity for help.

Thresha, a 20-year old degree student is going through a very difficult time. She had a brain surgery 7 months back, but now the doctors are prescribing a cranioplasty to repair a defect in the skull. The involves inserting a titanium mesh to form the contour of the skull after lifting the scalp. She is currently suffering from CVT cerebral venous thrombosis or clots in the brain, and also paralysis on the right hand as well as leg.
