Helping fund Binoy’s brain surgery

Binoy, a 35-year old from Koovapilli in Kerala has been going through a very difficult time, and needs our help and prayers for his brain surgery. He had done a fire and safety course before going to Delhi 6 months back, to search for a job. Since he could not find a job related to his area of expertise, he was working as a construction supervisor for a church. When the church construction got over, he started searching for a job again. And that’s when tragedy struck, in the form of cerebral venous thrombosis or clots in the brain. He needed to have multiple surgeries done to remove the blood clots. The first surgery was done at Delhi at a cost of 12 lakhs, pledging their house and borrowing money in the process. He came back to Kerala fully paralyzed and needs more surgeries to make him better. He is currently admitted at Caritas hospital, Kottayam for the next brain surgery.

Binoy’s father, Joy Narimattom is a taxi driver at Koovapilli and his mother is a home maker. Binoy is married to a nurse, who is currently not working, and they also have a 3 year old daughter. The family is in no situation to fund the next surgery, the cost of which will come to Rs. 2 lakhs of which Rs. 70,000 has already been given as a deposit.

Fun raising closed for this cause. We have raised Rs 1,00,000 from a group of friends in a day. We have already paid the money to hospital directly.
