Peter, Sheela and their two school-going children are in dire need of our help. Peter suffered a heart attack, and lost his job some time back. He is now working as a real estate broker and finding it very difficult to make both ends meet. Sheela, a home maker is also struggling with their medical expenses, children’s education and other household expenses. Peter had stopped his medication for the past 8 months since the expenses were not affordable. That is when disaster struck again.

Peter suffered another heart attack on Nov 14th, 2013 and had to be admitted to Jayadeva Govt. cardiac super-specialty hospital. Sheela was worried that she might not be able to get her husband discharged without paying the hospital bills. She started borrowing from neighbours and friends to pay the hospital bills. Thankfully, the hospital waived off a huge amount of the bill since they are below poverty line(BPL) and Peter was discharged. He will not be able to resume his work for another 6 months. The medical expenses come to Rs.2000 a month and there are other education and household expenses to attend to. Peter and family requested help from MicroCharity to support them at least till Peter starts working again.
